Since Rurouni Kenshin is going to the big screen this August 25th 2012, May issue of Jump Square magazine that Nobuhiro Watsuki's new periodic era manga series, Rurouni Kenshin -Cinema-ban- will feature battles fought with characters from the upcoming live-action film.
Translated as Rurouni Kenshin: Cinema Version, will be starting this May 2nd. Furthermore, the issue has a feature promoting the "reboot" of the Rurouni Kenshin series, although the magazine doesn't revealed if the manga will have a "reboot".
The live action Rurouni Kenshin film stars Takeru Sato as the titular character Kenshin Himura. It will premier on Japanese theaters this August 25th.
