Role Overview: Subsea Controls Engineer
Duration: Long-term
Contract: Perm preferred
Indicative Day Rate: Very Attractive Market Rates

Role Activities:

Subsea Controls Engineer for offshore construction, with 20 plus years of relevant experience in Subsea Control design, & installation of Subsea Control Equipment’s for oil & gas development projects. Place of posting will be Mumbai, India/Offshore. The candidate should have a Bachelor in Engineering (Instrumentation & Control Systems). Out of the 20 years of experience at least 7 years’ should be in Deep Water Subsea Control System Design Operation and maintenance.

Job Purpose:

•Prepare SOW for Control System & Umbilical Works.

•Review for the FAT, EFAT & SIT processes.

Key Accountabilities:


•Ability to perform Subsea controls aspects of Concept / FEED / detail design and manage subsea controls and / or umbilical studies.

•Prepare SOW for Control System & Umbilical Works.

•Review Bidders Proposal and finalize SCS Contractor.

•Coaching & Mentoring of Subordinates

•Timely completion of control system, engineering, fabrication, installation and pre-commissioning activities.

•Preparation of budgetary estimates for subsea control systems and umbilical's

Function-specific Competencies:

 
•Selection and designing of Subsea control equipment’s

•Experienced in review, programming and troubleshooting

•Strong leadership skills, including a willingness to lead, offer opinions and direction, delivering in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

•An individual with high integrity, an honest and ethical approach to business.

Minimum Requirement:



•Degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent.

•Experience within Upstream oil and gas projects and operations

•Accomplished leadership skills
